Mountain West Champion Lobos Announces 2021-22 Schedule

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.  After a historic 2020-21 season by The University of New Mexico women’s soccer team, head coach Heather Dyche and the Lobos have announced their upcoming 2021 schedule. The fall slate features a total of 18 regular season matches and an additional two exhibition matchups. The Lobos will host nine home games in total. The first two home matches for the Lobos will be exhibition games on August 16 versus Fort Lewis College and August 26 versus Adams State University. Between the two exhibition games, the Lobos will take on UC Davis on August 19 and Dixie State on August 22 to kick off the regular season. Both matches will be played in Las Vegas, Nev.

No. 12 Cal began the weekend with a morning match against No. 11 Pepperdine. All of the Bears’ pairs came with their own energy, but sophomore Ainsley Radell and junior Jordan Polo’s win on court two drove the day’s success. After Radell’s final point secured the first win of the day for the Bears, the rest of the duos followed in her footsteps and performed skillfully.
