In his address, he proclaimed full support to the ongoing non-cooperation movement and called upon the people to continue the struggle unless success was achieved. He further stated that if the government does not accept Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman s demand by March 25, he would join hands with Bangabandhu and launch a mass movement. On the next day, the daily Ittefaq and daily Azad published details about the rally arranged by Chhatra League and Sramik League. In the rally, Bangabandhu called upon the people to continue their struggle for independence even if he could not stay alive. “Even if I die, the seven crore people will witness that the country becomes truly independent.
