Vice chancellor hopeful MoU will help create jobs - Newspaper

GWADAR: The vice chancellor of Turbat University, Prof Dr Jan Mohammad, has said that a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed with other universities and organisations would have far-reaching impact on youth development in the field of Information Technology and in setting up of their businesses for their economic prosperity and stability.
The vice chancellor said that besides increasing the knowledge and skills of students, the MoU would open new vistas of opportunities for empowering the youth across the region.
The MoU was signed at the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences (LUAWMS), Uthal, on Thursday between the University of Turbat, National Freelance Training Programme, Punjab Information Technology Board, LUAWMS Uthal and University of Balochistan (UoB), Quetta. ....

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and University of Balochistan (UoB) will make joint efforts to promote education in the province. This was agreed upon between the vice chancellors of the two universities in a meeting the other day.
AIOU Vice Chancellor Dr Ziaul Qayyum called on Dr Shafiqur Rehman, vice chancellor of the University of Balochistan, and discussed matters relating to the promotion of education in Balochistan and eradication of illiteracy from the province. ....
