Down six in the third quarter, Syracuse killed Georgetown’s man-up opportunity when the Hoyas attack lost his footing at X and dropped the ball. With a chance to recover and potentially spark a comeback in what turned into a scoreless third period for the Orange, Owen Seebold fired a shot. It s been quite a journey for the Class of 2020 high school graduates, a highly talented group that we ranked in our annual Power 100 in the beginning of February. Of course, this class enters college lacrosse amid unforeseen circumstances, namely four years of players ahead of them that have the option to use an extra year of NCAA eligibility.
The class rankings below represent the definitive snapshot of the incoming recruiting classes, led by Ty Xanders and the Inside Lacrosse editorial staff. They take into account the star power of the incoming recruits, but also how they fit into each team s needs in relation to what s on the roster. It s important to note that they differ from the ratings on the Recruiting Database, which is solely a mathematical calculation of each class star ratings, a formula that favors larger recruiting classes.
