New Delhi: India has strongly raised the vandalism issue of the Indian mission in Rome by Khalistan elements with Italian authorities, even as it complimented the UK on handling the situation expertly. The vandalism incident of the Indian embassy in Rome happened just ahead of India s Republic Day.

New Delhi, Jan 27 : Punjabi actor and singer Deep Sidhu, who is accused of instigating the farmers to hoist a pennant on the Red Fort, did not appear before the National Investigation Agency (NIA) last week after he was summoned in connection with the Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) case, sources said on Wednesday.
Sidhu was seen with a group of agitating farmers while hoisting a pennant on a flagpole at the ramparts of the Red Fort on Tuesday afternoon. ....

NIA clarifies to farm outfits, says 40 called only as 'witnesses' | India News

NEW DELHI: As farmers’ outfits spearheading the agitation against new agricultural laws criticised NIA notices to around 40 persons including those associated with the ongoing protests, sources in the Central probe agency said the concerned persons had been summoned merely as witnesses and not as suspects.
This, as per official sources, was because the investigators believe the witnesses may be in possession of information regarding the conspiracy by banned terrorist outfits like Sikhs for Justice and Babbar Khalsa International, etc, to cause disaffection in India and incite people to rise in rebellion against the government of India.
“The witnesses have been summoned under Section 160 of the Criminal Procedure Code as NIA believes they are in the know of certain facts and circumstances of the case registered against SFJ and other pro-Khalistan outfits on December 15, 2020. SFJ case: NIA questions witnesses; security beefed up at headquarters | India News

NEW DELHI: Security at the NIA headquarters, where witnesses in the case against Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and other pro-Khalistan outfits are currently being examined, was tightened on Monday with barricades set up on the road facing the building and deployment of additional security personnel.
An NIA officer told TOI that the extra security arrangements were only a precautionary measure taken in view of ongoing investigation into the case against SFJ, as part of which 40 witnesses including some associated with the farmers protests have been visiting NIA office here.
While sources denied any specific threat to NIA premises, the beefing up of security arrangements there comes in the backdrop of an alleged video where SFJ general counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun instigates farmers to replace the Indian tricolour hoisted at Red Fort on January 26 with the Khalistan flag, by offering them a reward of 2.5 lakh US dollars and the bait of foreign citizenship. ....
