May 10, 2021 | By University Bicycle Resource Center Our next bicycle class, “Bicycle Traffic Skills 101 – Virtual,” will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Learn the basics of vehicular cycling and keep yourself safe and comfortable while riding in traffic. Class taught by Chuck Strawser, UW Bicycle & Pedestrian Coordinator. Pre-registration on Zoom is required, with no attendee cap. Safran s climate strategy Safran disclosed emissions3 from its operations: Scope 1 (direct energy-related emissions) and Scope 2 (indirect energy-related emissions) with targets to reduce CO2 emissions by 2025; Some items of Scope 3 indirect emissions (business air travel and waste treatment). Safran also presented a strategy to reduce the CO2 emissions from its products, which are the main part of Scope 3 and which constitute its essential contribution to meet the aviation sector goal of halving the emissions by 2050 compared to 2005 (a 90 % reduction in average emissions per passenger kilometer across the worldwide fleet).
