Havana, Feb 7 (Prensa Latina) The Public Health Ministry announced today that 820 people were diagnosed with the SARS-Cov-2 virus, bringing the total number of infections in Cuba to 32,831.
At a press conference, the national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, informed that five patients died as a result of Covid-19, a disease caused by the new coronavirus, which increases the list of deaths to 238.
He also specified that 17,787 samples were analyzed, for a total of 2,011,405 PCR tests carried out to detect the presence of the virus since its presence in the country last March. ....

Tehran, Jan 10 (Prensa Latina) Iran began applying on Sunday a second round of immunization to the Covid-19 with the vaccine candidate COVIRAN Barekat, after verifying no adverse reaction in its first test.
The secretary of the medical ethics research committee of the Iranian Health Ministry, Ehsan Shamsi Kushqui, assured that there were no side effects in seven volunteers during the initial inoculation.
Kushqui explained that all participants will be re-vaccinated within the next 28 days.
In the initial stage of clinical trials with COVIRAN Barekat, 56 people will test the safety of the antidote, he said. ....
