The plays were selected for the Dramatists Guild FootlightsTM series in the Eastern New England Region. Evan Edwards is a polyonymous member of Actors Equity, DGA and AGVA. He was born and bred in upstate New York, where, as Steven Hamilton, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English/Theatre from Niagara University. ....
THE DAYS AFTER Selected For Dramatists Guild Footlights Series On Zoom The one-act play was written by Provincetown playwright Patrick Riviere.by BWW News Desk Provincetown playwright Patrick Riviere will see his One-Act play The Days After presented on Zoom on May 14th at 7PM. The play was selected for the Dramatists Guild Footlights series in the Eastern New England Region. The Days After had one prior public reading at the WOMR Davis Room in Provincetown in the summer of 2014. The original cast from that reading returns and is comprised of Brian Carlson, Jennifer Kopec and David McGlothlin. Directing this reading is Evan Edwards. ....
Virtual Ten-Minute Play Festival comes to Winters The Winters Theatre Company continues looking for ways to provide theatrical experiences during the current pandemic. This past fall, WTC produced a Zoom version of “Robin Hood,” allowing actors a chance to interact in a fun and safe way, while giving audiences the opportunity to safely enjoy the show from the comfort of their homes. Following in the footsteps of that production, WTC is presenting a podcast production for this year’s second annual Ten-Minute Play Festival. First produced in early 2020, right before the pandemic shelter-in-place began, the inaugural Ten-Minute Play Festival featured eight plays with storylines ranging from astronauts in love to a young man coming out about his love of opera music. ....
