James “Jim” D. Schults James “Jim” D. Schultz passed away peacefully on Dec. 19, 2020 with his family by his side. A celebration of Jim’s life will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at The Log Church in Crosslake, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake. Jim was born in St. Cloud, MN on Dec. 1, 1944 to Deward and Thelma Schultz. His family moved to Minneapolis, MN, where Jim attended Washburn High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1966 with a degree in business/marketing. Jim married Jeanne in 1968. He served in the Army Reserves for the next 6 months then accepted a job with Cargill where he worked for 34 years. After taking early retirement from Cargill he went to Washington, DC to work for a trade association and then spent his last year working in the George Bush administration which was a very special time for him and the fam ....
