India is poised to clear some new investment proposals from China in the coming weeks as frosty relations between the two neighbouring countries thawed amid an easing in border tensions, said three government officials with knowledge of the matter.
Parliamentary Defence Panel Plans to Visit Galwan Valley, Pangong Lake
The panel s visit to the Line of Actual Control depends on the approval from the government, the sources said.

New Delhi: The parliamentary standing committee on defence intends to visit Galwan Valley and Pangong lake in the eastern Ladakh region, which has been witness to a violent stand-off between the troops of India and China, sources said. However, it may seek the permission of the government before visiting the strategically located areas, they said.
