One person died in a two-car crash on Camino Del Rio North in Mission Valley on Tuesday, a San Diego Fire-Rescue Department spokesperson confirmed.
The deadly crash happened just before 4 p.m. on a bend along Camino Del Rio in between Interstate 15 and I-805.

1 killed in head-on crash in Mission Valley
A 65-year-old male driver died at the scene while another person was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

One person was killed and other injured in a two-car, head-on crash in Mission Valley on Tuesday. The crash occurred just before 4 p.m. in the 3200 block of Camino del Rio North near Mission City Parkway, according to the San Diego Police Department.
A 65-year-old male driver died at the scene. Paramedics took the other motorist, who was described as elderly, to a hospital for treatment of injuries of undisclosed severity.
MISSION VALLEY
A 93-year-old driver was killed and a second 93-year-old driver was injured in a head-on crash in Mission Valley on Tuesday afternoon, San Diego police said.
The two-vehicle crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Camino Del Rio North near Mission City Parkway, east of Interstate 805. Police said the driver of a 1989 Chrysler was headed westbound around a curve when he drifted into the eastbound lanes and hit an eastbound 1994 Oldsmobile.
The driver of the Chrysler was trapped and died in the wreckage, police said. The second driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
