Jewish Pavilion volunteers have long lasting friendships

Jewish Pavilion volunteers have long lasting friendships

Make new friends and keep the old. One is silver and the other gold. Not only is that a quote very similar to us but can be very relatable as well.
The Jewish Pavilion has solidified so many silver- and gold-type relationships. Volunteers spend many hours with seniors, many who are considered true friends. Legislators go after governors to rein in COVID-19 powers
Lawmakers in more than half the states are moving to curtail emergency powers their governors have used to combat the coronavirus pandemic in increasingly fraught clashes over the balance of power between legislatures and the executive.
More than 150 bills and resolutions limiting a governor s authority have been introduced in 27 states, according to a tally maintained by Stateside, a lobbying firm that concentrates on legislatures.

COVID-19 cases drop, but variants point to dangers ahead
The number of Americans testing positive for the coronavirus has dropped substantially from an early January zenith, easing the strain on hospitals across the nation that faced danger over the winter holidays.

The bright lights of the winter holidays are giving way to a dark winter of death and disease across the United States as a new variant of the coronavirus that has already killed more than 350,000 Americans begins to worry public health experts and officials.
Millions of Americans who traveled to see family over the Christmas and New Year s holidays once again threaten to contribute to an already unprecedented spike in cases caused by family gatherings over the Thanksgiving holidays.
And the early optimism over vaccines created in record time is giving way to frustration and anger as distribution and administration fall substantially behind expectations. ....
