Kim, on loan from the Humane Society as part of “Dogs with Jobs,” will work for the day as a Bark Ranger. Her task? To get adopted. The Humane Society for Greater Savannah launched a new adoption program “Bark Rangers, which happens every other Tuesday at Wormsloe Historic Site. The next Bark Ranger reports for duty on Tuesday, Feb. 9. “You can’t get a much better partnership,” said Wormsloe site manager, Gretchen Greminger. “The dog gets to spend a day in the woods, and we get to hang out with a fun, four-legged friend. The dog socializes outside of the kennel and gets to release some pent up energy.” ....
