Quite soon after passing Knowles Mill you’ll see a concrete track climbing right. Continue past this for another 100m or so, then take an unsigned path just before a tributary stream. Climb steeply uphill then walk along the top of the cliff above the stream, through oak trees and heather, until the path forks. Take the right-hand branch, follow it to a track and turn left.
