Punjab: Mohali police registers case against unidentified person over death threat to CM Amarinder Singh

Mohali Police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person after a poster that issued a death threat against Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh came to its notice. 
According to the police, the poster was pasted on a guide map near Sector 66-67 crossing. The poster announced a reward of $1 million for killing the Chief minister.
There was also an email address found on the poster that announced a reward for the killing of the Punjab CM, ANI reported.
A case was registered against the unidentified person under Sections 504, 506, and 120B of IPC and Sections 3, 4, 5 of Punjab Prevention of Defacement Property Ordinance Act, 1997, Mohali City SP said. ....

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has directed the authorities concerned to continue administrative measures to stabilise the prices of essential commodities besides ensuring their availability to the people at the government specified rates.
The chief minister further asked the officials to keep a vigilant eye on the hoarders and profiteers, and launch a crackdown against them.
He said that action should be taken against the hoarders under The Punjab Prevention of Hoarding Ordinance 2020.
According to a handout issued on Sunday, Buzdar instructed the Provincial Price Control Committee to strictly monitor the prices of daily-use items and utilise all administrative powers to facilitate citizens in having access to the items at the designated prices. ....
