The Chefs’ Table Society of B.C. (CTS) and Pacific Prawn Fishermen’s Association Spot Prawn Festival is back for 2021.
The plan is a “deconstructed” COVID-19 friendly festival of the local, sustainable, and delicious B.C. spot prawn. The season opens May 14, and the festival will run for the duration of the six to eight week season. The main event will be held virtually on May 29.

Spot prawn lovers will be able to cook a three-course dinner at home with B.C. spot prawns as the star. Tutorials will be guided by CTS chef members from three B.C. regions and hosted by CBC Vancouver news anchor/reporter Lien Yeung.
