Parma residents asked to keep holiday lights on to support healthcare workers and first responders

PARMA, Ohio Considering the emotional drain of 2020 going into 2021, city leaders in Parma are hoping residents extend their holiday cheer just a little bit longer.
Last night (Dec. 30), Parma City Council passed a resolution encouraging residents to keep their holiday lights on through the end of February to show support for healthcare workers and first responders.
“Not only do I have a pretty large display but on Keystone Road there are arches and synchronized lighting to music,” said Ward 9 Councilman Roy J. Jech, who spearheaded the resolution. “So many people come through there I thought it would be nice to see the lights for another month or two. ....
