COVID-19 vaccination drive resumes in Kathmandu metropolis

Kathmandu [Nepal], June 15 (ANI): After a pause of three days, the COVID-19 vaccination drive resumed in Nepal s capital Kathmandu on Monday.
Officials at COVID-19 Operation Centre started their work earlier yesterday to resume dispatch of COVID vaccine Vero Cell. The inoculation drive was halted in Kathmandu last week, citing insufficiency in vaccine doses.
Nepal had granted conditional emergency approval for use of Vero Cell, the coronavirus vaccine manufactured by China s Beijing Institute of Biological Products earlier on February 18.
Officials at the vaccination centre - vaccinators, volunteers, and management staff will take forward the inoculation drive for people aged between 60 to 64 years. Along with those who received the first dose of Vero Cell, workers of the health sector and other front-liners also are bei ....

Kathmandu [Nepal], June 15 (ANI): After a pause of three days, the COVID-19 vaccination drive resumed in Nepal s capital Kathmandu on Monday.
