The low pressure system formerly known as Tropical Storm Fred will pass just northwest of New Jersey Wednesday night. The heaviest rain will also stay NW of NJ.
While New Jersey won't feel direct impacts of Tropical Storm Fred necessarily, humidity, cloud cover, and rain chances will increase through the workweek.
One more day with temperatures in the 90s and a heat index in the hundreds, before cooler, drier, more comfortable air returns to New Jersey this weekend.
