CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN A winter village will help Brooklynites get in the holiday spirit this weekend, this time in Crown Heights.
The Nostrand Avenue Bar and Restaurant Association has announced plans to transform a stretch of Pacific Street between Nostrand and Bedford avenues into a holiday destination on Saturday.
The Winter Village on Nostrand will include live music, a clothing drive, vendors, health screenings, toys giveaways and, of course, visits with Santa. There will also be complimentary hot chocolate and donuts, according to a flyer. ....
