Police: Fleeing hit-and-run driver crashes into living room of Tacoma 4-plex

TACOMA, Wash. - A hit-and-run driver in an SUV plowed into the living room of a Tacoma four-plex Wednesday night while fleeing from a crash scene, police said.
Three people were inside the unit at 49th Avenue NE and Norpoint Way NE just before 10:30 p.m. when the SUV crashed into their living room. Luckily none of the three were hurt.
Police said that the 23-year-old SUV driver had crashed into a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old man at 29th Avenue NE and Norpoint Way a few minutes earlier and was fleeing from the crash scene when he lost control and slammed into the home. ....
