Friday afternoonâs game one, saw the âBows getting a close 75-74 victory over the Matadors, thanks to freshman Biwale Bayles last second 3-pointer to avoid overtime for Hawaii.
James Jean-Marie had 20 points as Hawaii beat Cal Poly 81-64 on Saturday night. Jean-Marie made 8 of 10 shots. Justin Webster had 18 points for Hawaii (7-5, 5-5 Big West Conference).

If anyone in the Royal Ocean Racing Club s suite of race offices was bothered by the thought that the 2021 change of course in the club s core event, the biennial Fastnet Race, was going to have a detrimental effect on entries, they didn t show it. And there was no need to worry, for within an hour of the list s electronic opening, it was already banging up against the 400-boat ceiling.
The University of Hawaii started off Big West play in winning fashion with an 88-83 road victory at UC Riverside Friday afternoon at the SRC Arena. UH improved to 3-0 overall on the season.
