DETROIT - Vaccine eligibilities are slowly making their way down the ladder of age, with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approving the Pfizer shot for adolescents age 12-15 on Tuesday and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention giving their blessing Wednesday.

The City of Detroit has laid out their plans to vaccinate teens once the federal government gives the Pfizer vaccine available to those 12 to 17-years-old.

DETROIT (WXYZ) â Now that the CDC has authorized the use of the Pfizer vaccine for children age 12 and older, the City of Detroit will be offering the shot at all drive-through and walk-in locations as long as they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The parent or guardian must also must bring identification and at least one form of documentation to demonstrate the child is at least 12-years-old.
