ANALYSIS: Strong stick of regulation will be needed to commandeer big business into hitting new climate The question, however, is whether the politicians who attended Biden’s climate summit will be able to commandeer the companies that produce the vast majority of climate destroying emissions into action to deliver their targets. ....

The other day it got a call to say that vaccinations were available if they could make themselves ready in an hour. They did. Some of the residents have dementia but, while getting things ready, staff managed to persuade 32 of the 40 to have the jab. My son’s partner stayed on after the end of her shift and took pictures of herself with each of the 40 residents, which she sent to the families with an explanation of what had happened. ....
Falmouth Town players celebrate their second goal. Picture: Cameron Weldon FALMOUTH Town reached the third round of the FA Vase for the second year running after beating Bishop s Cleeve 2-1 in an eventful second round tie at Bickland Park. Luke Brabyn put Town in front in the fourth minute before Ashley Caldwell levelled shortly before the break, only for Luke Barner to restore the lead in first-half stoppage time. Neither side could add to the scoreline after the break but the half was not without incident, with Bishop’s Cleeve pair Matt Sysum and Archie Haskayne being sent off after a tackle on Scott Kellow sparked a mass brawl in the dying minutes. ....
