The group includes former Beavers, current athletes, and a few future OSU stars, representing a variety of nations across different sports. Here’s how things have shaken up so far. Tarni Stepto - Softball (Australia) Kareem Elgazzar-USA TODAY Network Stepto is a signee for Oregon State after playing for Salt Lake Community College, and plays for the Australian National Team. Australia took on the U.S. this weekend, and while they didn’t pull off the upset, the Aussies pushed the Americans to the brink. Stepto pitched an excellent game, throwing for 7.1 innings during which she struck out three batters and allowed one earned run. Australia fell to the U.S. 2-1, and with an overall record of 1-4 finished out of the medals in fifth overall. Still, Stepto put in an impressive performance and it’ll be great to see her ....
