Broadway manager tapped as new executive director for New Haven s Shubert Theater

The Shubert Theater in New Haven officially has a new executive director.
Anthony McDonald will take over as director of the theater, succeeding John Fisher, who served in the role for 20 years.
“I have had the honor and privilege to lead this most historic theatre and am very proud of the solid foundation we have built for the Shubert,” Fisher said in a news release.
“I am thrilled and delighted to welcome Anthony to New Haven and I know that our legendary Shubert Theatre will be in good hands with him.” ....
