All seven conferences appeared in action this week, headlined by the No. 1 Iowa Hawkeyes dominating No. 6 Nebraska 31-6 behind the impressive leadership and savviness of 125-pound, two-time NCAA champion Spencer Lee. Our Iowa Hawkeyes ripped through Nebraska Friday night, 31-6, leaving behind a mangled mess of bloody limbs and broken dreams. The Cornhuskers braved the winter storm, ice covered roads, and near white-out conditions to test their mettle against the #1 team in the country. Unfortunately for them, they were sent back across the border in body bags.
The Huskers are always down for a chippy dual, especially against us. Last year they put up a spirited fight, keeping all matches close, as they only gave up one bonus point loss. This year, they looked to improve on their competitive drive by winning a couple toss up matches to try and steal the dual in Carver-Hawkeye… but their luck ran out, ea ....

The No. 6 Nebraska wrestling team traveled to Iowa City, Iowa to take on the best of the best in college wrestling. And the Huskers were served some humble pie thanks to the Hawkeyes.
Top-ranked Iowa beat Nebraska 31-6 after winning the first six matches to go up 24-0. Iowa showed why they’re at the top. And to be honest, the gap between them and the rest of the field is quite wide. I expect Iowa to do this to many of the top teams this dual season. ....

The 2019-20 was one of the most volatile seasons we’ve had at a weight in quite some time. Cash Wilcke was our returning 3x national qualifier that had previously made it to the round of 12 at nationals on two separate occasions. This was supposed to be the year he finally broke through to the podium. However, with a limited window for a national title, Brands & Co. wanted someone on the mat that would force the action.
