Organized by Neptune City Councilwoman, Danielle Pappas, and the Neptune City Police Department, the drive was held to provide pet care necessities to households in need. Neptune City NJ man sentenced for illegally possessing machine gun


A Neptune City man was sentenced to 57 months in prison after he pleaded guilty Monday to illegally possessing a handgun that had been converted into a machine gun, federal authorities announced. 
Davon Harley, 30, pleaded guilty to one count each of being a felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of a machine gun, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said in a news release. Harley pleaded guilty by videoconference before U.S. District Court Judge Peter G. Sheridan.
Harley was charged last May following an investigation into a February 2020 incident when a Neptune City police officer confronted Harley during an argument with others in the yard of an apartment complex, according to court documents. ....
