Many influential leaders in Maharashtra and Gujarat during the 1990s had allegedly developed ties with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and his henchman Iqbal Mirchi. Rashtriya Janata Dal Leader Tejashvi Yadav on Thursday announced that the opposition Grand Alliance in Bihar would take out a week-long agitation against the new farm laws that would conclude with a state-wide human chain.
The agitation would coincide with the Kisan Jagriti Saptaah (farmers awareness week) that falls on January 24, which is the birth anniversary of the former chief minister and OBC stalwart Karpoori Thakur, Yadav said at a press conference.
