13 липня Верховна Рада провалила законопроєкт про легалізацію медичного канабісу. До вересня його відправили на доопрацювання. Планувалося, що пацієнтам дозволять купувати препарати на основі лікарських конопель. Міністерство охорони здоров я підтримує легалізацію. Узаконення канабісу не зробить його доступнішим для наркозалежних, бо продаватимуть тільки хворим по рецепту.

On Friday, December 11
th at approximately 3:50 P.M. Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department was out patrolling the Economy Inn parking lot when he was flagged down by a female.
While speaking with the female she advised that she needed 34 year old, Kirk Alan Barnett of Plymouth removed from her motel room.
As Officer Arnold made his way to the motel he located Mr. Barnett on the far eastside staircase.
Barnett was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant out of Marshall County for Failure to Appear on Court Cost and Fines. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $215.
