‘No Show’ jurors face contempt charge County Judge Bill Blue is providing fair warning that those who may be tempted to ignore jury summons could face potential “adverse action,” after 38 prospective jurors failed to appear for duty last Friday. In a letter to Perry Newspapers, Blue said that those summoned for jury duty who fail to appear without being excused may be held in contempt of court if they cannot show cause.
