A New Zealand-born woman in Australia has avoided a stint in prison after throwing her partner s wallet off a balcony, setting fire to his clothes and then breaking into her ex-boyfriend s house.
Jessica Mary O Brien, an executive assistant, appeared in the Brisbane District Court on Wednesday on one charge of endangering a property by fire.
The court heard how the 32-year-old was in a volatile relationship with a man 17 years her senior, the Daily Mail reported.
