NEET-PG 2021 Latest News: The government has decided to utilise medical students as adequate human resources for responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a high level Covid-19 review meeting today decided to allow deployment of medical interns in Covid management duties under the supervision of their faculty, as part of the internship rotation. The services of final year MBBS students can be utilised for providing services like tele-consultation and monitoring of mild Covid cases after due orientation by and under supervision of faculty, the government release mentioned. The following service of the MBBS students will reduce the workload on existing doctors engaged in Covid duty, it added.Â

Citing the difficulties that students might face while going to a few selected examination centres in Odisha to appear for all-India NEET-UG 2021 test amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the state government on Tuesday requested the National Testing Agency (NTA) to set up one exam centre in each district of the State.
Additional Chief Secretary Health & Family Welfare P K Mohapatra in a letter addressed to Director General of NTA Vineet Joshi and has requested to consider setting up one examination centre for NEET-UG 2021 in each district of the State.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Monday announced that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) only one time in 2021.
The examination will be conducted in 11 languages, including Hindi and English through Pen and Paper mode on August 1 this year.
Notification date, syllabus, and other important details are yet to be revealed by the NTA. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 exam dates are out. National Testing Agency, NTA yesterday announced that that NEET 2021 would be conducted on August 1, 2021. No changes have been proposed and NEET would be conducted once and in offline (pen and paper) mode like in previous years. Waiting for long now, the announcement has drawn mixed reactions from experts as well as students.
NEET 2021 Exam Dates and mode have not been declared as yet. In a poll, 47% students opted for offline exam over online mode but want the exam to be conducted twice.
