They attained martyrdom: Nihang Sikh leader
Two horses belonging to the Nihang Sikhs group died allegedly after being teargassed during the clash between security agencies and protesting farmers during tractor parade on Tuesday.
Raja Raj Singh, Nihang Sikh leader, said that the two horses were named Mor and Gehna aged five and seven respectively and belonged to two different groups of Nihangs. While Mor died on the spot, Gehna died later in the night.
Mr. Singh said during the clash with security agencies, they had broken barricades and simultaneously, the police was throwing teargas shells in their direction. “Mor couldn’t handle and died on the spot at Karnal bypass but Gehna was in pain. It was taken to a gurdwara nearby where it stayed for a few hours in pain and died later,” he said, adding that they cou ....

New Delhi, Jan 26: The farmers protesting at the three borders said that they decided to adhere to the route agreed upon during their meetings, but some groups of protesters started the rally and drove on prohibited routes within Delhi.

The early hours of the protests have been marred with reports of farmers clashing with the police. Reports also said that the police had to use water cannons and tear gas shells to disburse the farmers.
Following a meeting on Sunday, the police said that they had reached a consensus with the farmers on holding the rally at specific locations near the three borders. During the meeting, the farmers had agreed to stick to specific routes and not enter other parts of the city. However, it became clear that the farmers began their rally an hour before the decided time. The farmers had assured the police ....

New Delhi, Jan 26: Thousands of tractors took a turn towards ITO, despite the farmers unions repeatedly promosing that the tractor rally will not enter the Capital.
