Sustainable materials company Spinnova has announced its collaboration with Saima Helsinki and legendary Finnish designer Vuokko Nurmesniemi, in a charity collection and auction for the Baltic Sea Action. As part of the charity benefit, another fabulous Spinnova demo product is introduced - the ageless classic, Myllynkivi dress with a Pyörre print, the company reports.

The sustainable material company Spinnova has announced it has become a contributor of the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals’ Roadmap to Zero programme. ZDHC’s objective is to protect the planet by reducing the textile industry s chemical footprint.
ZDHC is a group of apparel and footwear brands and retailers working together to lead the industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. ZDHC enables a cleaner industry of the future by, for example, finding safer alternatives and managing the Manufacturing Restricted Substances List. The MRSL supports good chemical management by helping avoid the use of banned substances during production and manufacturing.

The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) announced today that a Solar Project Collaboration by four Pennsylvania institutions Muhlenberg College, Dickinson College, Lafayette College and Lehigh University is a 2020 AASHE Sustainability Award winner.
AASHE’s annual Sustainability Awards recognize outstanding achievements and progress toward environmental, social and economic health. The organization bestows its prestigious awards on the institutions and individuals that are leading higher education to a sustainable future.
