State Bank Of India (SBI) Changes Rules For ATM Cash Withdrawal, Chequebook Charges For These Account Holders, Check Details


State Bank of India s basic savings account holders are issued a basic Rupay ATM-cum-debit card.
The State Bank of India (SBI) revised its rules and regulations for cash withdrawals from its ATMs, branches, as well as chequebook charges for the basic savings bank deposits (BSBD) account holders. According to an official statement released by the country s largest lender, the new rules and regulations for the basic savings account holders will come into effect from July 1, 2021. The basic savings bank accounts at the State Bank can be opened by providing valid KYC documents by individuals. (
There is no limit on the minimum or maximum balance assigned for these basic savings accounts. As there is no limit for the minimum balance in basic savings accounts, this means that the minimum balance is nil for account holders. The country s largest commercial bank has dedicated Rs 30 crore to set up 1,000 bed makeshift hospitals, 250 bed ICU facilities and 1,000 bed isolation facilities across some of the worst-hit states.
These facilities will be set up in collaboration with government hospitals and municipal corporations of respective cities, the lender said in a statement on Monday.
SBI will also contribute Rs 10 crore for genome-sequencing equipment, lab and vaccine research equipment to the government.
Besides, SBI has allocated Rs 21 crore to all its 17 local head offices to address urgent medical needs of citizens including procuring life-saving healthcare equipment and enhancing oxygen supply to hospitals. ....

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], May 1 (ANI): State Bank of India (SBI) said on Saturday it has reduced home loans rates from 6.95 per cent to 6.7 per cent.
Besides, women borrowers will get a special concession of 5 basis points. Customers can also apply for a loan from the ease of their home via the YONO App to earn an additional interest concession of 5 basis points.
The affordability for the consumer increases immensely with the present home loan interest rate offerings which reduce the EMI amounts substantially, said C S Setty, Managing Director for retail and digital banking. ....
