Wonderful holiday – International Women Day, has been celebrated in Turkmenistan. In our country, it is celebrated according to national traditions and is an evidence of great attention of the government to the best part of humanity.

Today, an online meeting has taken place between senior officials of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) Düsen Kaseinov. A host of performing artists from Turkic-speaking countries also joined the virtual event using modern communications technology.
Meeting participants discussed the importance of encouraging a cultural dialogue between the nations and promoting their heritage through the arts. As highlighted by our country’s representatives, the last few years have seen the greatest creations and crowning glory of the Turkmen nation inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Development of the cultural dialogue was the focus of discussion of the online meeting between the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture - TURKSOY Dyusen Kaseinov. Artists from the Turkic-speaking countries and Turkic-speaking regions of Russia and Moldova also participated in the online meeting via video link.
The meeting emphasized the importance of developing partnerships between the peoples in the sphere of culture and popularizing their achievements in art.
