[아이뉴스24 송혜리 기자] LG유플러스가 시각장애인용 e북 약 1만6천페이지를 제작했다. 이는 장애인 지원 단체인 IT로 열린도서관 인당 연간 e북 이용량을 기준으로 한사람이 약 24년간 독서할 수 있는 양이다.
LG유플러스(대표 황현식)는 시각장애인용 전자도서(e북)를 만드는 U+희망도서 활동으로 4개월간 약 1만6천페이지 분량의 e북을 제작했다고 14일 발표했다.
시각장애인용 e북은 일반도서를 점자파일 등으로 표현한 대체 도서를 일컫는다. 그간 시각장애인들은 점자 도서가 부족한 탓에 원하는 책을 읽을 수 없는 불편함이 있었다.
이에 LG유플러스 임직원들은 올 3월부터 ....
