Members of Libyan government ministries and other officials are this week taking part in an online course in migrant and refugee protection. It is hoped that the course will enable the sharing of best practices and experience, the organizers say.
A course on migrant and refugee protection for Libyan authorities organized by the Sovereign Order of Malta in collaboration with the British think tank Forward Thinking began Monday. The course is being delivered online due to COVID-related travel restrictions. Course participants include representatives of the Libyan government from the defense, interior, justice, labor, and training ministries as well as other key national institutions. ....
