While it’s not over, the pivot from recovery to reopening will likely be harder than the past twelve months. I see the rest of 2021 as a period of “turbulent reentry” as we slowly move to herd immunity, as stimulus monies peter out, as state economies limp back, and as businesses everywhere reopen (or down their shutters for good), and as competition and technology continue to shift the paradigm in how health care is delivered.
