Portage County to consider 'Second Amendment sanctuary' resolution

STEVENS POINT – Portage County would become a sanctuary for the U.S. Constitution, including the Second Amendment, under a proposed resolution.
County Board member Scott Soik said his proposal initially focused solely on the Second Amendment, but he expanded it to include the entire U.S. Constitution in an effort to attract broader support.
Second Amendment sanctuary measures typically involve municipalities and counties declaring their opposition to gun control proposals.
The resolution would have the county oppose to the enactment of any legislation that would infringe upon any right or protection provided to the people of Portage County by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights of the United States, including the Second Amendment. ....

'I still don't understand what's going on' - FA intervenes in Birmingham ground issue

Birmingham have played the fewest matches of any WSL club this season amid ground issues such as waterlogging and being frozen solid.
Birmingham confirmed the relocation of the match was done in consultation with the FA, but the club s manager Carla Ward was perhaps not involved, having expressed shock at the late notice.
“I still don’t understand what’s going on,” said Ward.
