(KGTV) Kaiser Permanente will make COVID-19 vaccinations mandatory for all employees and physicians, the healthcare system announced Monday.
According to the organization, nearly 78 percent of employees and over 95 percent of physicians have been fully vaccinated as of July 31.
Kaiser has set a target date of September 30 to âachieve a fully vaccinated workforce.â
âUnvaccinated employees and physicians will be required to become fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or apply for medical or religious exemption,â the organization said.
Kaiser also said itâs working with labor unions to implement an employee vaccination mandate. ....

Kaiser Permanente officials announced Monday that the health care provider will mandate all of its employees nationwide get vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of September.
Roughly 78% of Kaiser employees and more than 95% of Kaiser physicians are already fully vaccinated as of July 31, according to Kaiser officials. The health care provider set a deadline of Sept. 30 for all of its employees to get fully vaccinated.
