Image used for representational purpose only GUWAHATI: Two neo-Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (neo-JMB) cadres were arrested with arms and fake Indian currency notes (FICN) over Rs 1 lakh by the special branch of Assam police in Dhubri district in lower Assam. The cadres have been identified as Mozibar Rahman alias Gunbar Ali and his brother Faizar Ali from Lakura area under Gauripur police station in the district. They were arrested on April 24, but was not revealed due to security issues. Police recovered four country-made pistols, fake Indian currency note of Rs 1 lakh denominations and a few suspected gold sheets from Mozibar. He has been booked under sections 120(B), 420 and 489(A) of IPC and Section 25 I(A) of the Arms Act. ....

(Business in Cameroon) - In a notice published yesterday, April 19, Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG), announces that a settlement agreement was reached with electric utility ENEO concerning its long-standing case with Gaz du Cameroun S.A. ( GDC ). On 16 April 2021, GDC signed a settlement agreement with Eneo which will result in the payment of the gross amount to GDC, within 30 days of the signing, of approximately 2.74 billion FCFA (Central African CFA franc: circa US$5 million). This settlement relates to the Take-or-Pay invoices for October, November, and December 2019 plus associated interest (…) The payment to GDC will represent full and final settlement for all amounts invoiced to Eneo, VOG writes. ....
