Hello! I have been playing keys for many years, and have always used a pedal or two here and there. Recently I got a full pedal board and have been loving it, but I’ve been having issues with delay pedals.
For reference, I have a Yamaha MX-88 as my main keyboard on my rig. I have used the Electro Harmonix Memory Toy delay pedal, and it has worked perfectly and wonderfully. My current layout is:
MX-88 > BOSS VE-500 Vocal Pedal > Kmize Phaser Pedal > DELAY > Azor Reverb Pedal > Soundboard.
I have tried many of the cheaper delay pedals (Donner Yellow Fall, JOYO Analog Reverb, etc.) both in that delay spot in the chain, as well as on their own, and I can never get a delay signal out of the speakers. When the pedal is on, nothing in the sound changes, no matter where I turn the knobs or turn on and off again. Confirmed the correct voltage and amperage going in. Occasionally if the volume is really high, I can hear a faint clip of a possibl
