Margarita Ortiz WATERBURY – Ms. Margarita Ortiz, age 73, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family at the Autumn Lakes Health Care Center in Waterbury on Friday, July 30, 2021. Margarita was born June 11, 1948, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, the daughter of the late Pedro and Osvaldina (Santos) Ortiz. Margarita was a longtime Waterbury resident and was a loving and caring mother and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, especially for family gatherings and also enjoyed playing dominos, listening to music and watching her favorite TV shows. Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, are her children, Diana Ortiz and her husband Enrique, Angelo, Penelope, and Valeria. She is also survived by her brothers; Aristides and his wife Isabel, and Roberto; and her sister, Teresa. In addition, she leaves her adoring grandchildren Angelica, Amanda, Josiah and Caleb, as well as five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other extended
