PORTSMOUTH Developers are proposing to demolish the Deer Street building that is now home to the Statey Bar & Grill and replace it with a new mixed-use building with as many as 21 micro housing units. Documents filed with the city – and statements made by the developers’ representatives – say the new building would feature commercial or retail on the ground floor and micro unit apartments of less than 500 square feet in the three floors above.
