The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation tour of the “Historic West Side” will take place at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, July 4.
George DeMers will lead guests through the restored West Side to learn about Saratoga’s Irish and Italian immigrants as well as the Black community who helped shaped this \district. The tour, sponsored by TOGA HERITAGE, meets at the entrance of Gideon Putnam Burying Ground located on South Franklin Street.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. A 14-year-old girl, Savannah Grace Childress, returned home to North Carolina on Sunday - 10 days after investigators said she was kidnapped from her home by a man who contacted her online through her school-issued laptop, according to multiple law enforcement agencies.
