McNeil and Bailey linked as wingers dominate speculation Rumour Mill

Everton are reportedly keen on signing Dwight McNeil from Burnley and remain interested in Bayer Leverkusen s Leon Bailey, the latter of whom they have scouted heavily over the past couple of years.
Paul Joyce of The Times has tweeted that the Blues are eyeing McNeil who has emerged as a Premier League talent and he put his stamp on the last meeting between Everton and the Clarets with an impressive goal at Goodison Park earlier this year.
Jamaica international Bailey, meanwhile, is more of a pacy, goalscoring profile, although it s not clear if he would still be a target if his current team-mate, Demarai Gray, makes his anticipated £1.5m switch to Merseyside this month. ....

Bernard makes UAE move

Bernard makes UAE move
Bernard has left Everton after signing for Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates.
A year after a switch to Nasar fell through, an agreement to transfer the Brazilian has been reached as first reported by Greg O Keeffe of The Athletic.
Bernard was signed on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk but struggled to hold down a first-team place under Marco Silva and Carlo Ancelotti.
His move to the UAE Pro League is believed to have garnered Everton a nominal fee of around £1m as well as freeing up between £120,000 and £150,000 a week in reported wages.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin s latest injury comeback continued today as he scored in a behind-closed-doors practice match with Blackburn Rovers at USM Finch Farm.
The Ivorian midfielder has endured a nightmare time at Everton following his £23m move from Mainz in 2019, suffering a serious quad muscle injury shortly after making his debut, rupturing his Achilles just when he was due to return in the spring before injuring his knee in training after just one match back earlier this year.
Fit again and hoping to finally get his Everton career off the ground as the 2021-22 campaign draws near, Gbamin scored the only goal against Rovers. ....

Time To Move On

Time To Move On

I don’t think many people will like this article, or agree with it. You might hate me for it. Time to move on means what it says – and it’s what I’ll be doing.
Like many ToffeeWebbers, I have been supporting Everton since I was a youngster. When I was 7 years old, my family moved to Liverpool, though I was already a confirmed Blue by then thanks to my Dad, who had previously lived in Liverpool from 1958 to 1966.
My Dad likes to tell the story of how he came to Liverpool as a young man (from Belfast) and went to watch Liverpool one week and then went to watch Everton the next and sensibly chose the latter. He said Liverpool just didn’t feel right, plus they were in the Second Division and shite, which made the decision even easier. ....
