Former St Kilda star Nick Dal Santo has been appointed as the Saints AFLW head coach.
Dal Santo played 260 games for the Saints between 2002 and 2013, then 62 for North Melbourne from 2014 to 2016 and replaces inaugural coach Peta Searle, who departed in June.
The 37-year-old has been involved at St Kilda since 2017 as head coach of their next generation academy and father-son program.
He will maintain his academy role while coaching the club s AFLW team. During his time as a player, and now more recently as coach of our NGA, Nick has impressed us with his leadership and ability to motivate and drive his athletes, St Kilda chief executive Matt Finnis said.
