Thibodaux crisis pregnancy center receives donations
Staff
The Crossroads Pregnancy Resource Center in Thibodaux recently received a donation of bibs, burp cloths, quilts and teddy bears.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gave the center the handmade items to help during the coronavirus pandemic.
“We started doing things in pieces after the social distancing began,” church members Jo Ann Christl, of Schriever, and Ronda Gisclair, of Larose, said in a joint statement. “Some would cut the fabric that someone else donated. Others lay out the pieces and place them in plastic bags. Another person picks up the bag and assembles the pieces. The last step is to quilt the front to the back.”
